Poly * Polyamory * Committed Non Monogamy * Ethical Swinging * Open Relationships * Multi-Partner Relationships * Swingers and Emotional Connections * Everyone has the right to marry and love whom they choose without limits as long as they are responsible adults! But what if v-day isn’t about dinner with the one you love. What if you could fill a dinner party with the people you’re involved with?
Being poly tends to mean forming relationships to people, rather than just sleeping with them, whereas ethical non-monogamous relationships tend to focus on having sex with other people rather than relationships with them.
But as you can probably imagine, the more people you get involved, the more organisation it needs.
Finding time to see everyone you’re dating can be tricky if there’s more of you.
If you’re long distance, not a big fan of commitment or have an extremely busy work life, it can work as a brilliant way of being in a relationship without feeling like you’re always distracted. But by trying polyamory I was able to rule it out, and trying out different relationship structures teaches you about yourself and your needs, which can only be a good thing.
You don’t have to worry about staying late at work or choosing to go off travelling if the person you’re dating has other partners to keep them company.
